How to add Vedo
Claude
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Vedo and paste https://vedo.build/mcp. Leave the advanced settings as they are.
- Choose Add, then Connect. On the Vedo page, enter your work email and the 6-digit code we send you, then choose Allow.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it first under Organization settings, then Connectors. Each person then connects with their own sign-in. Once added, it works on claude.ai, the desktop app and the phone apps.
ChatGPT
- On chatgpt.com in a browser, open Plugins, choose + and then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Vedo, paste https://vedo.build/mcp and choose OAuth. Leave the client fields empty.
- Choose Create, then sign in on the Vedo page with your work email, the code and Allow. In a chat, mention @Vedo.
Which ChatGPT plans can add a custom server is up to OpenAI. If you don't see the option, check your plan or ask your workspace admin.
Who sees what
Each person connects with their own Vedo sign-in and sees only what their role shows them in the app. The site team sees everything on their sites. A trade sees the flags and punch items sent to their trade. Nobody sees another company's sites.
Read only
Claude and ChatGPT can read your sites but can't change anything in Vedo. They can't flag, fix, send or delete.
Privacy
Vedo sends Claude or ChatGPT only the answers to what you ask. Photos open through links that stop working after an hour. We keep a short record of when each connection is used, never what you asked or the answer. What Claude or ChatGPT does with an answer is covered by their own privacy terms.
You can see and disconnect them any time in the Vedo app, under Account, then Connected apps. Disconnecting ends access right away.
